~Happy Spring~

So much for keeping my blog updated! It seems like the time goes by so fast these days. Ok, I'm sure I've said that before! It seems like in April, school activities kick in high gear! Track meets, field trips, Field Day, recitals, parties and prom are scheduled for April and May. It seems so strange with Zachary not playing baseball this year. It's the first spring since his t-ball days that we've not spent several nights a week at the ball field, but I do think he made the right decision not to play this year. He started umpiring games this week at North Jackson and loved it! He is also throwing shot put for the track team at Prep. Last Friday, he came in 2nd. I wouldn't think that would be good for his shoulder either, but it doesn't take control like throwing a baseball. Leigh Ashley's dance team did great at competition this past weekend in Birmingham! It makes me so happy to see how much she enjoys it when she's on stage! It makes all the expense worth it! Now that competitions are done, they will focus now on the recital in May.

Although we are in the middle of wrapping up yet another school year, May 22 will be here soon! I reserved the same condo as last year at the Aegean on Holiday Isle in Destin for "First Week", so that's something to look forward to. Until then, the Courtney's will be keeping Chick-fil-a in business while burning up Lakeland Drive! Happy Easter!
