Another test for Leigh Ashley
Yesterday, Leigh Ashley had the EEG that Dr. Evans ordered last month. This test would determine if she has any seizure activity in her brain. She was nervous about having the test, but she was thrilled that she couldn't go to school because of all the sticky gunk in her hair. By the time we got home and washed her hair, it was too late to make the trip back up Lakeland Drive to First Pres. When we pulled in the driveway, Dr. Evan's nurse called me on my cell phone. My heart sank thinking that something was really wrong since we just left the hospital. She wasn't calling concerning the EEG, she was calling about the EKG she had last month. She said that she didn't know why they haven't called yet, but Dr. Evans wants to repeat the EKG. You may remember that the last EKG showed she had "Possible Right ventricular hypertrophy", but the nurse said it most likely was nothing to worry about. It's scheduled for next Wednesday at UMC. This afternoon the nurse called again to tell me that her EEG was normal. Great news!!! Please pray that her little heart is healthy and we will get a good report.
