I'm Back...

I haven't not updated because things have been quiet around here.... October has been so busy. Leigh Ashley had a great birthday party. It was nice to walk in a place and walk out. I think all of the girls really enjoyed themselves.

I am still trying to recover from Homecoming on Friday. I helped decorate for the dance until it was time to pick up Leigh Ashley from school. Then I get home and realize that I forgot to pick up Zachary's pants from the seamstress and his shirt from the cleaners!!! This was at 4:30! Thankfully, the lady had not closed. My friend and neighbor, Carol picked up the corsage from Green Floral. Things have really changed since the 80's. Now the wrist corsages are put on a beaded bracelet that the girl can keep. I remember for homecoming we had the big mum corsages that were worn to the football games. Zachary took Brittany Bennett to the dance. She's precious. I followed them over to Madison's house to take pictures since Michelle and Steve are out of town. Michelle's mom is staying with the kids.

The dance was from 11pm until 1:30, so I went home and prepared food for after the dance. They all came back over here and watched tv. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep...about three hours. Saturday was a washout for me! I totally forgot that Leigh Ashley had dance team practice at 9 Saturday morning. She's not happy with me for forgetting about it. My brain just wasn't functioning after my wild Friday!

Zachary had a great time. Mark even let him drive his car to the dance. He went to bed so he wouldn't think about it! He did say that he got up in the middle of the night and went in the garage to see if it made it back in one piece.
