Another VBS has come & gone

Another VBS has come to a close. It was a great week! I'm amazed each year how God provides all our needs and things just fall into place. I've lost count of how many years of VBS I've helped with at Pinelake, but it's been quiet a few. Things have changed a lot from the first one I helped with over at the old church. I just remember it was a camping theme because I walked into the classroom and there was a huge tent that took up most of the room. It was back in the days when there seemed to be a contest of whose room could have the most elaborate decorations. Thankfully, all that was done away with and the concentration was put where it should be....on Jesus!

I think this is the third year I served as a grade coordinator and before that I served as a room director. The neat thing is that for the past 4 years it's been with the same age. So, I've been able to watch those kids grow up. I wish I had taken pictures over years and been able to make some kind of display of all the kids. I do think I have some from several years ago, but finding them is another story.
